One Week To Go!
This time next week Sherry and I will be in the sky somewhere over Indiana or Iowa, on our way to Phoenix. We will have boarded our plane at an ungodly early hour (6:15). Which means we will be leaving for the airport somewhere around 4:30 a.m. Our dear (now much dearer) friend Katie will be taking us to the airport. I don’t think she knew what she was signing up for!
There is still so much to do to get ready: lodging to arrange, people to contact, house cleaning to begrudgingly do, blog to start… Sherry and I are both having moments of freaking out each day. So far we’ve been able to hold it together, but I figure we’ll be insane by Thursday night.
Actually (now that I think about it) we already have a lot of details figured out. This is going to be a pretty amazing trip. We are staying in a castle in the Garden of the Gods, spending a few days in a beautiful modern loft in the heart of Salt Lake City, visiting the Grand Canyon, and the best part: getting lot’s of great time to catch up with family we haven’t seen in way too long.
I’m putting together some stuff so that it’ll be easy to share pictures and details about the trip. It will all get posted up on this blog, so there’s one easy place to follow along (for those who want to).
Now to go set up a google map of our trip…
